menu4.me
In menu4.me there is one Menu per account — the brand catalog of categories and dishes. Each restaurant publishes a slice of that catalog through Offerings (what is served at that venue, with an optional price). Solo covers one restaurant; Chain allows multiple venues under the same account, without manually copying the whole menu for every location.

One catalog, many venues

The problem with separate menus

A chain that keeps a separate spreadsheet or PDF per venue quickly ends up with mismatched prices, different descriptions of the same dish, and duplicated work on every change.

Guests at one address see one price, at another a different one — and you are not sure which is “official.” More venues mean more places for errors.

Menu: one brand catalog

Menu in menu4.me is the account catalog: categories and dishes with a catalog price. There is one Menu per account — not one file per venue.

When you add a dish or change a description, you do it once. Venues that serve that dish inherit the update; you do not open five documents.

Offerings: what each venue serves

An Offering links a catalog dish to a concrete restaurant. There you set whether the dish is served today (Available) and whether the venue has its own price instead of the catalog price.

If one venue does not serve roast, it simply has no Offering for that dish — the public menu at /m/:slug omits empty categories. Another venue can serve the same dish at a different price.

Solo vs Chain

Solo is for one restaurant: one catalog, one public page, a simple bill. Chain raises how many restaurants the account may have — the same Menu, more Offerings per venue.

Branding (logo, colors, skin) stays per restaurant. You share catalog structure, not necessarily the same visual identity at every address. How many venues Chain allows depends on your tariff; Solo is always one.

Frequently asked questions

Must every location have the same menu?

No. You share the Menu catalog; Offerings choose what each venue serves — including price and availability.

What is the difference between Solo and Chain?

Solo covers one restaurant. Chain allows multiple restaurants under the same account and the same catalog.

Is branding shared?

Not necessarily. Each restaurant can have its own logo, colors, and skin, with a shared Menu catalog.

What is an Offering?

The link “this dish is served at this restaurant,” with an optional price and today’s availability (Available).

Does menu4.me take orders per venue?

No. The focus is presenting the menu. Ordering and payments are not part of the product.
